A new sport is created taking inspiration from the events of Battles, sparking off Battles 2. The Bloons are utterly unprepared for this, and lose to the rapid advancement of the Monkeys.
The Monkeys have advanced so much that they decide it's time to take back their city. They are held off for a time, with the help of Super Monkey from BSM2, but eventually, the Bloons win, and the Monkeys retreat to another location. However, the Bloons have also improved their forces, sending in their gods, the Boss Bloons, to battle the Monkeys. implications that the object might have been a balloon or meteorite were quickly shortcut by Rutledge's firm. BTD5! The two cities have stopped war and united into a singular Monkey Kingdom. He then decides to try out bigger targets, specifically, an entire airship which he tries to crash in Hot Air Bloon. He finds it rather fun, and traverses the world just to pop more bloons. A bored Dart Monkey decides to throw darts at balloons. They both prove to be an effective solution, but lack of communication causes the two cities to declare war on each other, sparking the events of BTD Battles. First up, the original Bloons games and Hot Air Bloon. To defend themselves from the Bloon threat, which has occupied a large part of the world, two Monkey Cities are formed in the Grassy Pass and Bloon Dunes. The Bloons bring in new weapons, like Camo and Airships, while the Monkey Army comes out with new tech and some support from the Sun God themself. It gets serious, and war is officially declared. (No word on Adora's Blood Sacrifice ability, though.)
The True Sun God - and even the Avatar of the Vengeful Monkey - definitely gives me more the vibes of "God leads their tribe into battle/ Kaiju is supported by the military" rather than "bloodthirsty god eats all else in the name of its own power". or the Monkey Military painting their planes and missile launchers gold as a sign of devotion? The same could apply for every other class of Monkey that buffs the temple when sacrificed, and the visual graphics of attacks they use - Primary Monkeys use their more basic weapons from within the Temple, leading to the attacks we see from Primary sacrifices, Magic Monkeys cast their spells/use their powers from the Temple, leading to the magical effects, and the Support monkeys keep doing their financial, practical, and information support roles in the name of the Temple, leading to the Temple producing revenue and helping nearby towers. All the "sacrificed" Monkeys also presumably pray really hard and/or their devotion inherently grants the Temple/True Sun God additional power via Gods Need Prayer Badly, leading to the buffs to its main attack.
coincidentally magically spawn golden planes and missile launchers. The in-game text only says "The temple demands sacrifice" and " Towers will be destroyed", nothing about the Monkeys manning them.I mean, what makes more sense, the Monkey Military killing themselves and destroying their hardware to.
